Melissa Hanna Owner

Melissa is Allan’s youngest daughter and the fabulous General Manager of Rainbow Motor Sales! She’s been married to John Hanna for 26 years and has two grown sons, Brendan and Connor, whom she absolutely adores. Melissa cherishes every moment spent with her family and friends, bringing that same warmth and joy to the dealership. She’s been part of Rainbow Motor Sales since day one—answering phones, detailing cars, renting out trucks—whatever it took! After graduating from Grand Valley in 1991, Melissa worked in Hawaii at Norwest Financial, then built her banking career at Bank One. In 1999, she made her way back to Rainbow Motor Sales, mastering everything from sales to advertising. Her boundless energy and sunny disposition light up our team and our customers every single day!

Allan Herman Owner

Allan is unstoppable! He’s been happily married to Phyllis—his biggest cheerleader—for 61 years. Together, they raised two fabulous daughters, Melissa and Michele, and Allan always dreamed of running a business with them—“Allan & Daughters!” After launching his career as an Assistant Civil Engineer in Grand Rapids, he returned to his hometown of Coldwater in 1972 to start his own construction company. Over the years, he’s owned a tarring business, a party store, and even built McDonald’s restaurants as a general contractor. Then, in 1983, Allan founded Rainbow Motor Sales with just one car! He quickly grew into wholesaling 100 cars a month, but shifted focus to retail in 2004 with a guaranteed finance model—helping over 23,000 customers along the way. At 81, Allan is still hands-on with both the dealership and his commercial properties. We love his dedication and the incredible legacy he’s built for his family!

Michele Streets Owner

Michele is Allan’s oldest daughter and has worn many hats at Rainbow Motor Sales! She graduated from Argubright Business College in 1987 while helping her dad manage a tire store. After moving away, she returned in 1994 to work as a Title Clerk before spending several years in the banking world at Flagstar and PNC. She rejoined Rainbow Motor Sales in 2012, and although she loves chatting with customers, she now spends most of her time behind the scenes—desking deals and keeping everything running smoothly.

On the personal side, Michele has two amazing grown children, Tyler and Kasey, and two adorable grandsons, Leyton and Jude. She calls her kids “super humans” and can’t wait for any chance to have them home so they can enjoy family time together. Michele’s warm heart and dedication shine through in everything she does!

Dominique Cantrell

Dominique joined our Rainbow Motor Sales family in September of 2024, bringing seven years of automotive sales experience under her belt—including three successful years at Right Way in Battle Creek. She has an uncanny knack for connecting with customers, chatting up the lenders, and boosting sales, as proven by her fabulous track record and over 500 five-star Google reviews!

Outside the dealership, Dominique and her boyfriend just bought a farm in Tekonsha, where she’s raising chickens for the very first time. She’s also a proud mama to her 11-year-old son, Xayden, who’s rocking a 4.0 GPA. When she needs some “me” time, you’ll find Dominique happily gaming away. We’re so excited to have her fresh energy and expertise on our team!

John Hanna Inventory Manager

John is our incredible inventory manager and Melissa’s husband! He’s been a part of the Rainbow Motor Sales for 15 years, scouting out vehicles at auctions and making sure each one is prepped and ready for our lot. When he’s off the clock, John can’t get enough of live events—especially concerts—and is always on the lookout for his next favorite show. We love the upbeat energy he brings to our team (and his concert stories, too)!

Maycee Howard Digital Art & Marketing

Maycee’s creative spark and warm heart light up Rainbow Motor Sales every single day! After graduating from Coldwater High School in 2017, she followed her passion for early education before joining our BDC team in 2022—and it didn’t take long for her artistic talents to shine. Maycee now decorates the dealership for our monthly themes, makes sure everything is festive for our special guests (like Santa and the Easter Bunny), and handles our social media as our Digital Marketing guru. When she’s not at the dealership, Maycee loves going off-roading in her Jeep with her boyfriend, Connor, and doting on her two adorable pups, McKinley and Chewy. We just love the energy and creativity she brings to our team!

Tera Yaudes Sales

Tera hit the ground running when she joined Rainbow Motor Sales on December 21, 2021 as a BDC representative. Just six months later, she leaped into Sales and has been unstoppable ever since! With 389 cars sold in just 2½ years—and Top Sales every month in 2024—Tera is all about making dreams come true. She’s never shy about hopping on a Facebook Live or TikTok, and brings singing, fun costumes, and a burst of positivity wherever she goes.

Beyond the dealership, Tera has four wonderful kids—Jazmin, Dusten, Taylor, Tyler—and a sweet grandson named Walker. She also adores her three fur babies, Maya, Precious, and Tiva. When she’s not at work, Tera loves chilling with her family, creating memories, and enjoying life to the fullest. Oh, and did we mention she’s racked up over 200 five-star Google reviews? We just love her energy and passion!
